Web Quest: Seventeenth Century European Culture

The religious and political conflicts of 17th-Century Europe were reflected in the art, literature and political thought of the time. Make a Difference

I’d like to ask you all to take a few minutes to watch the video from NBC's Feb. 29th broadcast of Rock Center with Brian Williams. Then, take a moment to make a difference. I’m not asking you to take up arms and go fight the Sudanese government. Simply call or email your local representative and ask them to intercede on behalf of the Nuba in the Sudan. If that isn’t your style, then share this information on your own blog, post the link above on Facebook, Twitter, or email it to friends and family. By making others aware or by demanding change and action, you become part of the solution.

We owe it to humankind to help, and I truly hope you will accept my challenge to make a difference. Together, we can end genocide.
